MINISTERIAL SWEARING-IN: IMV Congratulates, Oyo State, Urges Adelabu to be Good Ambassador of Ibadan

A body of renowned Ibadan indigenes who are into professional media practice, Ibadan Mega Voice (IMV) has congratulated Chief Adebayo Adelabu on his swearing-in as a Minister in the President Tinubu-led administration.

IMV in a statement signed by its President, Comrade Kola Olomide who lauded the appointment of Ibadan-born egghead, said all eyes are on Adelabu to change the history of electricity in the country, charging him to be good ambassador of Ibadanland and Oyo State in general by doing his best for the present administration of President Bola Tinubu.
Olomide also called on Adelabu to work in synergy with civil servants and other stakeholders in the Power Ministry to ensure that the country gets out of its perennial darkness that has crippled the economy of the Giant of Africa.

“By mere restoring our power supply in the country, you will definitely write your name in the sand of time. This will go a long way in taking many families out of poverty.
“And your name will travel far and wide, beyond the shores of Nigeria and Africa as the man with a clear vision.

“Do not forget your background and the responsibilities placed on your shoulders as Ibadan, Oyo State and the entire Nigeria is looking up to you to turn power sector around in the country , always seek advice whenever the need arises.
“We pray that almighty God will guide you through and you shall surmount all the challenges ahead of you in this herculean task put before you.” Olomide stated.

IMV president urged Adelabu Tinubu to learn from shortcomings of the immediate past Muhammadu Buhari-led administration, especially in the area of power sector and correct the anomalies, while urging him to also work hand-in-hand with Governor Seyi Makinde to take Oyo State to the next greater height.
