The Lagos state Attorney-General, Moyosore Onigbanjo, has filed a one-count charge of unlawful killing against Drambi Vandi, an assistant superintendent of police, for the murder of Bolanle Raheem.
The charge was filed at the magistrate’s court sitting in Yaba, Lagos on Friday.
ASP Vandi was brought before Adeola Olatunbosun, chief magistrate, who remanded him in prison.
“That you ASP DRAMBI VANDI (M) on the 25th day of December 2022 at Ajah Round About along Lekki-Epe Express Way, Lagos within the Lagos State Magisterial District unlawfully killed one OMOBOLANLE RAHEEM (F) by shooting the deceased in the chest contrary to Section 223 of the Criminal Law Ch. C17 Vol. 3 Laws of Lagos State, 2015,” the charge sheet reads.
