2023 WAEC Best Student Receives N1 million Cash Gift

The presentation occurred on Wednesday, August 7, at the Ministry of Education’s conference hall in Ilorin.

N1 million naira has been awarded to Shalom Adesina, the best student in the 2023 May/June West African Examination Council (WAEC).

The money was awarded to him by the Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman AbdulRazaq.

The presentation occurred on Wednesday, August 7, at the Ministry of Education’s conference hall in Ilorin.

Shalom Adesina, a student from Rehoboth College, Pipeline, achieved distinctions in all his WAEC subjects, earning him the prestigious award.

According to Governor AbdulRazaq, the purpose of this initiative is to support and motivate outstanding student.

Governor AbdulRazaq praised Adesina’s remarkable performance, stating that the financial gift is meant to further fuel his academic journey.

The Press Secretary for the Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Peter Amogbonjaye, shared the news on the Kwara State Ministry of Communications’ X handle on August 8.
