Runners-up, Nigeria also moved up 14 spots.
The Super Eagles are now 28th despite losing the final 2-1 on Sunday, making them the third-ranked side on the continent.
Ivory Coast, meanwhile, have moved up to 39th in the world after sealing their third Nations Cup title on home soil.
Angola are the biggest winners from the finals, jumping 24 places to 93rd following their run to the quarter-finals in West Africa.
Tunisia and Algeria both dropped 13 spots, to 41st and 43rd respectively, after suffering group-stage exits at the tournament.
Morocco remain Africa’s top-ranked team, moving up a place to 12th despite losing in the last 16, and Senegal are 17th after bowing out at the same stage against the hosts.
