BREAKING: Betta Edu to report at EFCC headquarters Today

Betta Edu, the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation is set to report at the headquarters of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Abuja on Today Tuesday, January 9.

The suspended Minister was suspended by President Bola Tinubu over alleged N585m cash transfer saga on Monday.

Edu was invited in compliance with President Tinubu’s order that a comprehensive investigation encompassing her activities in the ministry be carried out, a top source in the anti-graft commission told reporters.

The suspended Minister was discovered to be involved in a N585m disbursement scandal involving her ministry, attracting widespread criticism from rights groups and activists.
