The allegation made by the Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, that there is evidence demonstrating that the Igbo race genuinely moved from Ile-Ife has drawn a variety of responses.
According to a previous report from Anaedoonline.ng, the monarch said that there is proof that the Igbo race genuinely moved from Ile-Ife during a Saturday press conference at his palace.

Ooni revealed that there is Ile-Igbo here in the palace, which was not a recent development but has been existing here for decades, and that there is evidence that the Igbo race has its beginnings here in Ile-Ife.

Instead of depending on tainted history, Oba Ogunwusi asked academics in Nigerian colleges to accurately document the history of the Yoruba race.
